The Coffeehouse at Resurrection Lutheran provides adults & youth with developmental disabilities and others in the community a monthly opportunity to join together in a welcoming atmosphere to listen to music, socialize, and make new friends.

 The Coffeehouse at Good Shepherd was established in October 1997 to provide adults & children with developmental disabilities and others in the community a monthly opportunity to join together in a welcoming non-judgemental atmosphere to listen to music, socialize, and make new friends. This event is open to the friends, neighbors and families of those living with cognitive disorders.

Come join Friday's Veil for an evening worship concert with food, beverage and lots of fun and dancing !

Friday's Veil will be providing a Winter Party and 25'th Anniversary Celebration concert event for the thousands of hard-working employees of CREE - the LED light manufacturerr . This is a private (invitation-only) event for CREE employees and their families.

We will be providing a mix of our Christian classic-rock originals, contemporary Christian cover songs, upbeat versions of some classic Christmas songs, and will close out the evening with some jammin classic-rock cover songs from the past !!       

Come out and join Friday's Veil on Friday evening as we kick off this weekend long event - Hawfield's Community Days !  We will play our first set, take a short break for some free homemade ice cream and cookies, and then round out the evening with our second set of contemporary Christian music !

Then come back out on Saturday to enjoy a full day of exciting free food and events (donations accepted for those who feel led to support this great event). The full schedule of events is below :

Watkins Chapel Baptist Church will be hosting a Youth Rally Concert featuring Friday's Veil from 4-8 pm. The band will start playing at 6:00 pm, followed by the guest speaker at 7:00 pm. Contact the church directly for more information at :  (919) 269-0820

A free Christian Music Festival & Revival Concert for the community with a bounce house and playground for the children, free hotdogs / chips / popcorn and drinks. Three guest bands will be playing at 2, 4 and 6 pm - and we will be on at 4:00 pm !   Come join us for a free day of music and fellowship !

Hope Cafe sponsors local missions and ministries each month - by donating their net profits from the sale of their great coffee, snacks and desserts. For the month of June - they are supporting the efforts of "With Love From Jesus" - ministering to over 4,000 families each month in addition to assisting many other ministries with helpful resources for their outreach.

The distribution of food, household items, clothing, furniture, computers, and vehicles provides the opportunity to share the love of Christ to the community. As the community comes to shop several days each week, God is adding people into His Kingdom as the gospel is given to those who come. In the beginning days of the ministry, the focus was on getting physical needs met. Today the focus is on building God’s Kingdom using the items donated from the community as tools of blessing!

WLFJ is currently in need of canned goods. Donations of canned goods can be made at Hope Cafe during our FREE concert event !!!

The Serving Cup began the Coffeehouse program in October 1997, with the aim of expanding the opportunity for social interaction and fellowship between adults of all abilities. Its purpose was to provide an inclusive setting for all, including developmentally disabled adults, to meet and mingle and have fun with the entire community. The Coffeehouse is an evening for entertainment, snacks, social interaction and networking.

Mt. Bethel Methodist Church is hosting this fundraiser to fund their new Pre-School... Cost of dinner is ONLY $6 for adults.. Dinner and a 2-hour concert for only $6 each, AND it will benefit NC Pre-School children ?! Hope to see you there !

The Hope Cafe supports local area missions and ministries each month, by sharing their net profits from the sale of their great food & beverages. They encourage believers to support their local congregation and the many non-profit ministries that help improve the overall spiritual health and quality of our local communities. 

Your attendance at this FREE concert event AND merely purchasing a cup of coffee, or eating a sandwich, or indulging yourself in one of the great desserts will be providing support to area missions and ministries !   A FREE concert with no strings attached - and if you choose to eat or drink while you are there you will be helping those in need?   How can you pass up that opportunity ?!  Make it a date night with your spouse or bring the whole family for a night of music in a family-safe setting !!  

Join Friday's Veil as we play for the NC Voice for Recovery Walk & Ride in Benson, NC at the Benson Singing Grove Park stage !!  Motorcycles will arrive from their fund raising ride at 12:00 noon !  We will be playing from 12:00 pm - 12:50 pm, followed by a 15-minute break, then another set from 1:10 to around 2:00 pm..
